Airtel said the new number range which is 0901, brings its numbering series scheme to eight, would offer the Nigerian community an opportunity to experience seamless telephony/mobile Internet service on an affordable network with a good and expansive 4G network coverage.
Airtel Nigeria, which has been chosen as Nigerias network of first choice for voice calls and mobile Internet and the introduction of a new number series is a confirmation that Nigerians across the country are in need of a change when it comes to telecom service delivery.
The firm currently has the following numbering series: 0802, 0808, 0708, 0812, 0701, 0902, and 0901.
